Past -President

Marvin S. Lebby was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He enrolled in Penn State in 1949 and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1951. After his service in Korea, he was discharged as Sargeant First Class. In 1954 Marvin and his father purchased an insurance company called Williams-Cleaveland Company. In 1970 he became the president. He ran the company for over thirty years until being succeeded by his son in 2003. In 1958, Marvin became a 32nd degree Mason. He has held many positions on many boards over the years including; Director of Pa Association Ind. Agents (1980-1990), Temple Hadar (1954-2011), New Castle Rotary No. 89 (1965-Present), Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. He is presently serving on the boards of: Human Services Center, Lawrence Community Foundation, Jameson Health Care Foundation, Moraine Trails Council - Boy Scouts of America, New Castle Shriners, the Lawrence County Redevelopment Authority, New Castle Hospital Authority, Pittsburgh Symphony at the Cathedral, Shenango Valley Foundation, Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County. In 2007 Marvin won the Jack Butz Humanitarian Award and in May 2012 Marvin Lebby won The Daniel Carter Beard Masonic Scouter Award.
